"I booked this place not expecting anything more than a three star and indeed the place did not disappoint. The room was advertised as executive but it was way below average. It was more of a backpacker. The furniture is old, the floor is neither tiled nor carpeted (it was a cement floor). The room has this 1982 bed with a very old mattress.The shower was not working properly. I must say the people were very friendly and the Wifi was on point."

"We went to Eswatini for a Hawane dam fishing trip. Hawane resort was a excellent place to stay , with friendly staff. Unfortunately Hawane dam access is now controlled by Malaloja game reserve and even with a fishing license obtained by Malaloja, we found it extremely difficult to enter the dam premises. It is also extremely sad to see and hear that they allow nets in Hawane dam. We caught this carp, removed pieces of net from it, and released him."

"Excellent location and surroundings. Good Breakfast. Rooms are outdated, Bathrooms not nice.Blocked Shower. Basin tap sprayed water everywhere. Lack of proper maintenance and housekeeping. Towels had seen better days."

"Beautiful place, it we came to see the business and were a little disappointed to only see one, and it wasn't very tame. Aside from that, everything was lovely...just not why we chose to go there in particular. For the price I would have gone elsewhere."

"Grounds are well kept. Food is OK. Rooms are old, damp, mildewed . Towels and linen mildewed. Staff were slow to respond to needs and unfriendly. Jacuzzi was broken. Lobby bathroom was filthy. Spa - not air conditioned, no cold water, reused disposable slippers, changing room - filthy. "

"It's a wonderful village up in the mountains. Our hosts made a tastey dinner and breakfast, made sure all our needs were taken care of, took us on a nature walk, visited a farm, and the school. The house is traditional and authentic. One of the best ways to get up and close to the culture. "
