「We stayed in a family room which was clean and close to the beach, with some restaurants around. There is no USB socket in the room so need to bring your own sockets to charge your phones and devices. Pillows are too soft. Breakfast was included, with cold and cooked buffet for selection.」

「The room i was initially booked into had not been cleaned when i arrived. I reported this and was met with excellent service and my room was upgraded at once to compensate. The hotel is well situated with best view of the sea ive experienced in all the hotels ive stayed at in Eastbourn. Standards were good for the price. Not really luxury but perfectly ok.」

「We had room 17- a review of this room last September was awful. If accurate it has now been improved as it was comfortable and we had no issues with it. All staff were very good - friendly and efficient.Breakfast was excellent. Ample parking at front of property . Grassy area at back alongside the river with sitting area was very nice. Position of hotel is great with a short walk straight into Rye which is a lovely town with many places to eat - lovely old pubs and interesting buildings. Lamb...
