「The hotel itself is no frills, but it is right on the beach. We enjoyed being at the end of the boardwalk - it was only about an 8 minute walk (with a 3 year old) to the main street with lots of stores and restaurants (the main drag). Coffee and pastries were a swing and a miss, but expected. The onsite, free garage parking is definitely a huge plus.」

「I was upset at being charged a parking fee. Nothing on the amenities page stated a parking fee and the parking is limited. I had to park around the back of the hotel. While at the desk finishing my regestration, another guest was not charged for parking a second vehicle that was arriving later. Clerk said she would only charge for one vehicle. We had several rooms and all paid for parking as well as late arriving family staying in the same room.」

「We have been going to this property for 12 years. The quality has gone down every year especially when management changes. Pay for parking now, property exterior was dirty all week, They allow dogs in all rooms which makes it difficult for staff to clean. Both rooms booked where full of dog hair on bed and pull out sofa had to get staff to reclean rooms, A/C units dirty and need to be changed out. Fan timers light switches/lighting not working. The worst part is booked two rooms on Bayside when...

「I don't get this hotel. Arrived within an hour of check-in time and there was nobody at the front desk. After finally checking-in, we found our cards would not open the room door. And who thought it would be a good idea to remove every single drawer and dresser from the rooms? There's zero space to store clothing other than decorative hangers surrounding the TV (not kidding). I see this feedback echoed on several other reviews as well. It's a shame as the hotel is in a very convenient location...

「Decent place close to the beach. Staff was friendly and helpful. Pool is nice. Room was clean but a tad musty. That seems to be part of the experience in beach places I have visited so far. Air conditioner is of industrial strength. Slept well in the king size bed. If you love both Christmas and mini-golf, this is the place for you! ; )」
