"Excellent hotel. Family friendly, great staff, good food. Beach and pools amazing although none of them heated so can be cold (we were there end of season) didn’t stop us though! Limited entertainment but nice vibe in the piazza area in the evenings."

"Nie wieder! Das Apartment war sehr schmutzig, Feuchtigkeit bis zum nicht mehr geht. Dieses Apartment war anscheinend schon seit einer Ewigkeit geschlossen. Im April , wo die Temperatur noch niedirig ist nur mit einer dünnen Decke ! So kalt und nasse Bettwäsche von der Feuchtigkeit das man nicht schlafen konnte. Ich habe auf Expedia was ganz anderes gebucht mit sauberem modernen Zimmer und das was wir vorgefunden haben nicht mit den Bildern zu vergleichen. Der Inhaber lies dies...

"We loved our weeks stay in this beautiful apartment. It is only a minute walk from the hustle and bustle of Spianada. The bed was SO comfy. The shower was great. The kitchen had everything we needed. There is a smart TV in the living area and the bedroom also had a smart TV. My Netflix account was easily accessed through them. The apartment was beautifully decorated throughout and the little street was nice and quiet. We will definitely return! "

"Lovely small resort, fantastic staff and an excellent location. But we didn’t get the classification of rooms we booked and were downgraded on arrival. This seemed to be a problem for a lot of guests, so I think there was a systemic booking problem over the winter/spring period while the resort is closed. In fairness they did manage to give us adjacent rooms after the first night, initially we were spread across two blocks hundreds of meters apart. "

"Very clean new villa whole family loved the private pool, the local supermarket was good for produce so quite a few kebabs and bbq outside the villa relaxing in the fantastic sunsets with a glass of wine. locally we preferred agios Georgios beach rather than Arillas but having car helped explore lots, some good taverna just a short drive. Thanks Anastasia for the welcome to the villa."

"Can’t say enough positive about this place. Perfect location, incredible view from The balcony and walking distance from the port and to walk to all shops and restaurants in Old Town. Very clean and updated decor. This was a trip with a friend so we rented the 2 bedroom. It was perfect! Owner was very quick to respond to any messages and sent clear concise instructions on entry and location. This will be my first choice when returning to Corfu. I can’t wait! "

"The location is excellent, directly across from Barbati Beach. Within a short walking distance, there are numerous restaurants and convenience stores. Kelly, the host, is very accommodating and easy to communicate with. The on-site pool is a nice touch, and the beach clubs are also excellent and only a few metres away. "Firstly we had to pay to upgrade our room After a bad storm the room leaked water in and we all woke up with wet sheets and a wet mattress. The rooms are very basic and good do with a refresh the shower was awfull. The staff are fantastic very helpful and polite and great with kids. The place was very quiet in October. The beach isn’t really something I expected with lots of seaweed and rubbish. The breakfast is lovely and very well priced. Mozzies are horrifying never experienced anything...

"This is a lovely apartment with a beautiful view of the sea from the terrace. Communication was excellent, with offers of help from the start. We had a couple of minor issues which were dealt with quickly and effectively. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen was adequately equipped for a holiday rental. A car is definitely essential to stay here, but there is parking and the nearest town is only a few minutes drive away along the main road. We had a very enjoyable relaxing stay. "

"I was a bit dubious about booking this apartment as it didn’t have any English reviews but I’m so glad I did. You get a WhatsApp number to contact the owner and they were really friendly. We got to the apartment and it was a lot bigger than we expected with a huge balcony. "Really enjoyed my stay at the Blue Mare resort! Beautiful location, the drive to the hotel is stunning too! 2 beaches are so close and I loved the rocky bay to the North East. Snorkelling really good there and calm! I found a good selection of food every day, lots of healthy options at the resort and didn’t find it repetitive, unless you only want to consume chips every day. You get to eat at the A La Carte 'Olives' restaurant one night during your stay- the food was amazing and 4 courses I was stuffed! Really good wine selection too, I purchased an amazing Greek Sauvignon blanc, I would highly recommend! My room was cleaned daily, fresh towels and I had a beautiful ocean view that I’m certain I didn’t pay for, so thank you! Staff were all really nice, friendly and helpful! My only suggestions would be to please add a Greek coffee station for breakfast- I’ve been to 16 Greek islands and this is the first time an all inclusive resort hasn’t had one. Definitely observed lots of people struggling with their luggage around the resort, it is a big hill. You got a little golf buggy to help people out? I recommend going to Corfu Town for the day! The hotel has a shuttle that goes a few times a week from the hotel for 15 euros. I got the local bus, as I wanted to go a day that the shuttle wasn’t running. Had to walk 20 minutes to get the local bus stop, but that didn't bother me. I would definitely come back to Mareblue for another stay. Corfu is a beautiful Efcharistó! "

Great break in a group.

"Great break with a load of work colleagues. Vibe at the pool spot on, food in the restaurant was great pool was above average but did what it needed to, great the menu regularly changed. Would definitely visit again and another cooks. "
