「Hotel Cocomar is not the ritz however your room is huge, clean and has a private beach directly in front which for the price is amazing! Staff is super friendly and helpful, but you need to ask for what you want. Property is dated and definitely needs upkeep, but for Costa Rica it is a little Gem. They have some resident stray dogs and cats who are super friendly but if you don’t like animals, maybe it’s not the place for you. Food and drinks were delicious! Highly recommend the nachos ;)...

「This place is about 1hour and 45min from SJO and it was the perfect trip for a few days to visit nearby Parrita and Jaco. We wanted a quiet romantic bitoque hotel and it’s exactly what we got. We walked to the beach (about 10-15 min walk) and then relaxed by the pool. The property views were amazing! The room was clean and comfortable. 」

「The staff went above and beyond to accommodate us. This was a family trip and unfortunately my father got ill (stomach bug). The staff were so helpful and accommodating to his needs. This place is perfect for a peaceful and quiet getaway. The pool and hot tub were clean and well maintained. We even got some coconuts cut for us. I recommend this place for those who want peace and quiet. The beach was empty when we went which was perfect for us. The food was 10/10. Breakfast típico with fresh...

「This was not a great experience. The breakfast was good but the rooms were very old and the WiFi did not work our whole trip. The shower and bathroom were kind of gross as well. The hot tub did not work at all during the entire length of our trip. 」

「Beautiful little gem up in the mountains with a beautiful view. Near a wonderful stretch of beaches but a long rough gravel road so be prepared if you plan to venture out.
