"First of all - do NOT pay in advance on Hotels.com as the owner won't accept this and will claim that he never gets money from Hotels.com. I was too tired to argue, so I paid again at hotel (though I shoved him my e-mail confirmation that all was paid for). When I then was charged from both hotel and Hotels.com I had to contact Hotels.com to get my part refunded - no assistance or action from owner's side. "We purchased a day pass to enjoy the beautiful hot springs at Rio Perlas Thermal Resort & Spa, and it was absolutely worth it! The pools were relaxing and well-maintained, and we also went on a scenic hike that made the experience even more special. One of the highlights was visiting the farm and getting to pet the animals—it added such a fun, unique touch. We had an amazing time overall and definitely plan to return when we’re back in Costa Rica!"
