"Stayed overnight. No water I couldn't wash myself, a/c bearly working, no internet connection, no bar to have a coffe fresh water, no restaurant to have a meal, staff barely talking at all in any language....realy sad atmosphere. I use to stay in this hotel and it was a decent place totally opposit of what is now."

"I booked two rooms via hotels.com for Hotel Girafe in Yaoundé for June 25, 2022. I paid in full. On arrival at the property, I was told there was no reservation for me and that the hotel does not have any online booking capabilities. I showed my reservation numbers and emails from hotels.com, yet the hotel claimed that they do not have any online presence. So my question is how come they are listed on hotels.com and yet, say they do not have any online presence and bookings cannot be done...

Apparently, according to the property, reservations are not transmitted to them in a timely manner. When reported to Hotel Management, they only said that “the hotel is not responsible”, that “I should just wait for the water to clear”. This happened 4 days out of my 9-day stay. "The reliability of the elevators was questionable, but otherwise the hotel was well maintained. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. There was a reasonable variety of dinner menu options and everything I ordered was very delicious. The breakfast was also very good."
