Just a couple of issues, baby mothes throughout, back burner is burnt out on stove, light bulb was burned out upstairs, and overall the decor feels dated except for the new sofa. Also, outdoor chairs were dirty and filled with spider webs.」

「Blowing Rock is a beautiful little town. Unfortunately, big conglomerates are buying up the small hotel properties, and the personal service that was once the rule is now lacking entirely. We stayed at Azalea Inn and were disappointed. To start, we had to go to a different property to check in. During our whole stay, there was never any staff onsite at Azalea. The grounds are lovely, but it's an old building. We stayed in a "deluxe" room for our anniversary, but had to climb a dark, smelly...

「Everything was great minus the smaller pillows. Facility is a little older but for a quick stay it was doable. Had all the necessities I needed and was in a good location.」

「Not too crazy about the outside of the hotel, no elevator too second floor. Pool looked like it was a little green with someone working on it late at night. Gym is a no... no wipes or sanitizer, equipment wasn't even plugged in and is rather old. The room itself was the bright spot for this price point. Staff was also very friendly.」

「This is a very well-maintained older property that is convenient to central Blowing Rock. You could park here and enjoy the town without driving. Although close in, it was quiet. The manager was very attentive and helpful in making suggestions for dining. The room was fairly small, but neat and clean. It's not fancy by Blowing Rock standards, but it had everything I needed. The bed was very comfortable - I slept better than at home. The property was also nicely landscaped, with lovely outside...
