「We were made very welcome, our room was lovely and warm (important as it was very cold and frosty), lovely and clean. Bathroom with a bath, but no shower. Large, comfortable bed. Very cosy. Breakfast was great and kept us going on our 10 mile walk that day. We had a lovely evening meal in the pub, which was well cooked and presented. Staff were very friendly and helpful.」

「We really enjoyed our stay here to celebrate our special wedding anniversary. All the stafff were welcoming & excellent. Our room (Delude) was super spacious with a 4 poster bed & lovely bedlinen. The spa was great and I had a fantastic treatment with Marilyn. Yes the property is a little tired but the surroundings & staff made it a very special stay nevertheless and we will definitely return. Breakfast was also excellent. The grounds are stunning so highly recommend this hotel for a stay. 」
