「This is a superb hotel but I think your experience depends very much on the room you choose. The grounds are vast and various accommodation built on a hill, with reception in the beautiful main hotel whilst the restaurant and pool are higher up. 「A relatively quiet hotel, just far enough from access to the main A1. The room was clean with a comfortable bed and basic tea coffee facilities. Good for an overnight stop」

「Great value for the price and the quality of surface you get. Cannot complain. The hall way at night does looks a bit like a haunted movie due to the way the motion sensor for the light works and the bluish emergency exit lighting.」

「We stayed for a couple of nights. The room was incredibly comfortable and quiet, certainly the best night's sleep we've had in local hotels in the area. The dinner menu is a bit limited, although the pizzas were good. They have just added cooked items to the breakfast but have a complicated charging system. Preferable just to add an extra amount to the b & b rate. The local countryside is lovely we had a couple of walks after dinner.」
