"We ate supper and breakfast here. Food was excellent. Portions were huge...probably could have shared! Very quiet and clean. Our room faced the lake. Reminded me of being on our cruise! Definitely will go back if im in the area. "

"The housekeeper and front desk girl were super friendly and nice. Lobby very inviting with a beautiful stair case. It's only 2 floors, and had to carry up the luggage. Not sure if they had an elevator, but our room was at the top of stairs so just took stairs."

"Great experience. We booked 2 other hotels, one ended up being in a different city ( even though we searched Detroit Lakes ? It was 26 miles away!). The. The second, was disgusting, and apparently also a halfway house, and over booked our room! American inn came through. Great service, clean, safe, and great service. "
