"We spent 3 nights in the Garden City hotel on a visit to Canberra. It is well out of town for anything within walking distance but a 10-15 minute drive will get you anywhere you want to go. The hotel is well priced compared to others close to the CBD. The room was clean, the bed was big and firm and the shower was the best I have ever experienced in a hotel. The pressure available was tremendous. We did not have breakfast there, preferring to find a café a few minutes away so I cannot comment on...

"This hotel is very well located and the apartment is well-equipped. The furnishings are a bit tired and the bathrooms are dated. It is very clean, but due to the age of things, so areas seem a little grubby. The beds are relatively comfortable - not saggy which is very good, although they are also a little hard, but not terrible. The pool is nice and is heated although it still seems very chilly!
