"A simple and spacious apartment with good amenities - conveniently located and close to everything. The tv we couldn't get any cable - only streaming services which were not available. The entry road is a bit rough but parking was ok. Suggesting to make this a non-smoking building - another guest was smoking weed and that was very unpleasant for us. Otherwise quiet location and would be good for families too."

10/10 Excellent

"The resort was spectacular in every way! The all-inclusive breakfast was fantastic as were the restaurants we tried for dinner (Ushu only, as we ended up going offsite to other highly acclaimed restaurants—Blanchards and Veya, both were fabulous!) The only thing we would do different next time is to specifically request accommodations between the #6-10 villas, as we were in #23 out of 24, so literally at the opposite end of the lobby & breakfast area. But we were right next door to the amazing spa (which is also a must do as you can use the facilities without any spa services) and the staff provided golf cart rides to take us back and forth. Overall, an excellent property with a fabulous beach and outstanding services!"

"Place itself is old and has character. Everything has been updated as far as amenities. Room I had was very spacious. Basically 2 rooms. Kitchen was great. Everything works! I arrived early and it was no problem. Dk who is the owner’s grandson drove me to supermarket to great what I needed for breakfast as there are no restaurants serving breakfast in the area. For next 2 days he drove me to the beaches I wanted to visit and came back to pick me up. For $20 each way. reasonable. It was a very good fit for me and what I needed. Staff is exceedingly helpful."

"The staff were amazing from the bell boys to the reception staff the restaurant staff and Del on Barnes beach remembered everybody’s name, the room had an amazing view and the food in all restaurants was amazing. We did a cerviche class and would highly recommend it."

"Aurora is the old Cuisinart. This property has been exceptionally well maintained with the fabulous staff, a friendly and courteous team members. Anguilla is not the Island to go to if you’re looking for the Saint Barts overly expensive nightlife. This is the cool island. No cruise ships nothing ostentatious. Just a friendly safe place to enjoy a true relaxing vacation on some of the most wonderful beaches in the world. Aurora‘s location is fantastic at rendezvous Bay. It’s one of the best beaches in the world. Awesome food, and again great staff. The only negative and this is a very small one as they need new cushions on the chairs on the beach. The rooms, the facilities, the towels, everything right down to the sheets was spectacular."

"I really hate to have to write a scathing review… but here goes: AVOID THIS PROPERTY I’ll start with the only two good things. The staff was absolutely incredible. They were generous, helpful, welcoming and kind. The air conditioning was impressive, especially compared to everything else about this property. It was extremely cold. The bad outweighs the good in every possible way. The room was extremely dated and desperate for some routine maintenance. The doors and windows did not seal at all. It probably has not been painted since they built the place, and it showed with marks and strange colors all over the walls. The bathroom was full of ants the entire visit. They were all over the sink and got into everything. The shower smelled like old urine. If you like hot showers you’d better be able to finish in under a minute, because that’s how long the hot water lasted. And there were big spiders in the corners behind furnishings. I guess it’s a win that I did not encounter a roach. The restaurants were ridiculously overpriced for what you got, but the food and service was pretty good. And everything, I mean everything at this place is à la carte, even the beach chairs that were hardly even in use by the handful of guests. Oh yeah, and the place came with complimentary roosters to make sure you were up from sunrise at 5 am and kept up all day (this seemed to be an Anguilla thing). The point is, this hotel is in desperate need of a major facelift."
