「Staff is wonderful. Good choice indeed. Very relaxing and cozy comfort. Roses everyday on our bed. Loved it. Well done.🙏」

「Our stay at the Blue Nile was one beyond our expectations. We celebrated our 1-year anniversary there and the staff went above and beyond to show how much they appreciated our staying there. The manager picked us up from the airport. We changed and went to dinner which was great the chef greeted us at our table and made sure our meals were on point, He also greeted us each day at every meal we had there Thank You Chef it was a pleasure talking with you each time. The grounds were wonderful,...

「I really enjoyed my 2 night stay at Hilltop Lodge. The reception and restaurant staff were excellent. My room had a touch of quality about it; spacious with a comfy bed, nice linen, nice bathroom and a spectacular view from the balcony.」

「My overall experience was below average. Before our arrival, the hotel promised to provide airport pickup, but no one showed up, so we had to take a taxi instead. The internet in our room did not work throughout our stay. Three different hotel staff members tried to help, but none of them seemed to know the correct Wi-Fi password or how to fix the issue. The dining experience was another major disappointment. The breakfast buffet was far below the standard I would expect from a hotel that...

「Clean rooms」

「Terrible hotel. No hot water. Windows rattle and whistle in modest wind. No shampoo. At restaurant I asked for hot water. It was yellow. I said I didn't want tea, I wanted hot water. It came back a bit less yellow. Coffee is gross, bitter beyond belief. Very loud at restaurant end of building. They don't turn on generator when power is out (frequent). I heard 4 sisters is much better option.」

「Swell stay, nice views and food, kind staff.」

「Even though Expedia advised the hotel provided an airport shuttle that was not the case! Due to the petrol crisis I was advised by the hotel upon advising of my delayed flight that I would have to find transportation myself. A very kind stranger from my flight, managed to get a driver/taxi to take me to my hotel. Upon arriving I had to pay 2000 bir which was a lot by their standards. I know I’ve been fleeced but what can you do and they have been hit badly by the petrol crisis! 」

「This hotel is absolutely excellent! It is beautiful, clean and safe and the staff are exceptional! It is a little away from Gondar town which is really nice and it is gated with security. It has outdoor patio area and a rooftop sitting area and a bar. Our stay Included breakfast which was made to order and delicious! Rooms have a balcony and are elegant and comfortable. Hot water at all times and they have a generator. We will absolutely be staying again! Thank you to the staff!! 」

「The accomodations were very nice with large comfortable bed. Staff are amazing.」

I stayed at this hotel in Sep 2023. It takes 30-60 mins from the airport of Lalibela. Since there is no public transport from the airport, you need to book a lift...
