「The hotel provides coffee and hot water which is very important for us especially in such rainy and cold day. Because of this, we felt the hotel lobby is a warm place to go to. And the staff is very friendly and helpful. The room is also very comfortable to stay in and provides good heat both in the room and in the bathroom. We find the hotel a very comfortable and good place. 」

「Great location 」

「The room is a total disaster. Broke and battered. Worst Scenario ever faced! Nightmare! Broken everything, the drapes, the electric wall plug were without surface plates exposing the socket , only one socket works out of 2! The shower slide door won’t slide, walls were dirty with lumpy paint tears down the wall. Furniture were aged and dirty and shinny from aged grease rubbing on it. Fabric were vintage and old. Flooring was dull and old . Insufficient lighting. Worst if worst experience!」

「The proprietors were charming folks and resident Alaskans. They provided a wonderful breakfast, taking into account our dietary preferences. They also were interesting in that they housed firefighters who had been working to control wildfires threatening some of Alaska's beautiful natural areas.」
