「First - these folks are so nice, and the location right outside the Great Sand Dunes National Park can't be beat. The full fridge and freezer worked well, and the mini kitchenette would be nice if we stayed longer (my roomie noticed skillets, no saucepan, and one knife, so limited equipment). We had issues with noise, however. One can hear everything through the walls. When you have a family next door that can't use their inside voices, forget about sleep. 「The lady who checked us in was very polite and efficient. The motel was older but very well kept. The room was a flashback to the 70s but was absolutely spotless and quite charming. We slept very soundly. The feee breakfast the next morning was tasty and an added bonus. If we're in Alamosa again, I'll book us a stay.」

「Just camp somewhere, you will be better off. Staying here was disgusting, the ceiling was peeling off, the bathroom had little animals coming out of drainage. Bedroom sheets were staying not to mention the horrible smell of the room. This is not a 3 start hotel if you will even call it that. Stay away and save your money.」

「We arrived after 19 hrs of driving to a clean and quiet hotel. Great location, right next to a Walmart and other restaurants. We visited the Great Sand Dunes and it was a great day.」

「I wish I could give more than 3 stars to this property because I do think the staff are doing the best they can. The beds were clean, the breakfast buffet was well stocked, and anytime we needed help the staff were great. The hotel needs quite a few upgrades: -the pool “waterpark” doesn’t have a functioning hot tub or slide, it’s just a pool (although it’s very warm which we loved). -the furniture in the game area needs replaced as well as others around the hotel. 「This is an old property with nice antique charm. The rooms were a bit small, but still worth the money. Breakfast was good with some hot options. We enjoyed the ambience.」

「This motel does not make a good first impression. The motel could definitely use some TLC,. With that said, members of the staff were polite and responsive to our concerns. The facility and the room were clean, and the bed was comfortable. Restaurants, shopping, and a Tesla Super Charger are nearby. Making this an ideal location.」
