Stayed here 2nd year in a row during the Iowa State Fair. Though ut is clearly an older property it was recently fully renovated & upgraded to modern decor. Friendly staff, nice warm pool & even comes with coupon to use for breakfast at attached diner.

Hotel was pretty run down, ceilings were leaking, smelled of smoke, doors didn't close properly. The site sold the rooms as adjoining, but there is no such thing once we arrived. Front desk staff was nice.

The hotel is a little bit outdated. Our room had a bit of an odd smell, and our bedding was damp when we went to bed. The room was clean and fair for the price. I do like that the hotel is connected to the diner, and they offer a voucher. We did not use the pool or gym.

This is an older motel with a new facade on the front entrance and the rooms have been recently renovated. Unfortunately the walls are thin and can hear EVERYTHING in the next room through the connecting door. One bonus is the morning breakfast which is at the connecting diner with made to order meals, good portions, and fast service. #1 option was two eggs, hash browns, and toast.

I was tricked by photos of a modern motel. This is an old Quality Inn that has a poor facelift. A fancy new entrance and lobby. New artwork in the room. Back window was dirty and full of debris. Front window faces the indoor pool. A new toilet was installed but it interferes with the bathroom door, which will only open 45 degrees! Bathroom counter was drilled for a 3 hole fixture but only a 1 hole fixture was installed. The soap dish hides the holes! Very classy - NOT!!! Also way overpriced. A general disappointment. Never going back.

The property clearly had a nice renovation at some point but it wasn't well kept up. The baseboards were falling off in the room, the back door was lock was broken, making the building not secure, and the hallway carpets needed a good cleaning. The hallways were extremely warm and humid. We had 6 people on our reservation and we were only offered one key, I had to push to get more. Our room was stocked with only two bath towels and no washcloths, except for one that was hanging up in the bathroom and already dirty. The floor was also a bit sticky. Another minor thing was there is not an elevator. We had packed a few heavy boxes anticipating there would be elevator access.
