Bait and Switch

We stopped here for the night on our drive out to Wisconsin. The two reasons we chose this location were the pool (we were looking forward to a swim after a long drive) and the free breakfast. The pool area was a little gross, and the hottub was just nasty. The kids swam, but I just couldn't bring myself to get in. There was no breakfast. Because of COVID. At that time the pandemic was nearly over, and all of the studies had shown that it wasn't spread that way, but they had it closed anyway. And no reimbursement from what we paid. The woman at the counter said that yes, everyone complains about that, and that she's told the owner to take that off of their advertisements, but it hadn't happened yet. It's just overall kind of trashy. The employees hang out by the doors and smoke, letting the hallways fill with the stench.

We show up and they canceled our reservations and never told us. Apparently they ran my card, I was not even there yet and my bank declined it as frad. They nevee called or emailed. They sold our room to someone else. The whole town was sold out and we had to drive home after our concert. The staff was horrible rude despise me trying to be polite.

Front desk manager was never there. The phone to call him didn't always work. Manager had an attitude. Free juice and coffee only, juice tasted terrible. Be ready to fork out an extra $100 for a deposit after paying for your room which is non refundable as it is. Don't recommend!!

View was of a McDonald's drive through. Needless to say, we had to keep the curtains closed. Shower that night had low pressure and was lukewarm at the best. Sheets and room was clean and staff friendly. An okay stay.

The first room they tried to put us in had a terrible smell like someone or something had died in it the second room was ok we paid for 2 nights we went to the iowa state fair when we got back round 11:30pm- 12am and our keys wouldnt work all our stuff was in the room we went down a little upset cuz we were locked out of our room and she told us if we didnt calm down she was gonna kick us out

The pool was open, but you had to go to the front desk to ask for pool towels, that is if you could find anyone. And then the front deak clerk had her son there each night alone swimming in the pool and he wouldnt leave my family alone! And even though advertised, they had no breakfast.

The rooms were dirty, no garbage bags in trash cans and none provided, pillow cases were visibly soiled with blood and other stains. Staff was exceptionally rude. Pool was very small compared to pictures online. No breakfast. When staff was asked they became very hostile and called me a liar. When i asked for a receipt, receptionist refused and argued with me for 15 minutes stating i did not need a receipt. Equipment was broken and non-functional or said not available. Worst place i have ever stayed. Wyndham should be embarrassed to claim them.

This is a two story property , the owners are so cheap they purposely leave off any air conditioning in the hallway and also leave the units in the room off completely, not even left at a higher temp, when you check into your room. My room was on the second floor where after climbing the stairs realized it was about 85 degrees in the hallway. It took about 15 minutes for the air conditioning to cool my room acceptably and because the hall outside the room is so hot the ac has to run constantly and room never evens out temperature; you can be freezing on the bed next to the window then get up to go to the bathroom and be sweating in there . I asked a staff of the air is broke for the main building she said no it is always off in the halls , and in the winter is left freezing

Amazing front desk lady! She was the best check in person ever, and did so much more than that. Very happy and friendly, and genuinely enjoyed her job. AMAZI G CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! The only disappointment was absolutely nothing for breakfast options. A piece of fruit or something pre packaged like a granola bar wouldve even been OK.
