The room and furnishing were very dated. I wiped the end tables and the coffee station with a wet wipe as they were quite dusty. The bathtub had rust damage so a bath was out of the question. Shower was fine. The trash cans were not emptied during my stay, the towels not changed. The bed seemed clean though and fairly comfortable. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was tasty.

This looks a bit unprepossessing but rooms are big, beds comfortable and it’s clean with friendly staff. And great for the station. Booking do not try to use the link just turn up. And definitely do not use the phone number on the website.

Close to main station

Right opposite Derby station with onsite parking that (have to use an app, not the hotel). Hotel has had a bit of a refresh, breakfast ok. Staff very friendly.
