My son and I stayed at the Curtis over the weekend of the 4th of July. We were told that the rooms were all recently renovated but our room was still tired. The bathroom was dirty and there was a tiny bug in the corner. The shower pressure was non-existent, and the water temp had 2 settings - ice cold and scolding. AC unit in the room was loud and sounded like it was about to fail.
Worst of all was the service after the stay. I left several items of clothing on the top shelf of the cabinet. Per the rude front desk person I talked to on the phone, I submitted a claim on the Curtis website for the items. I provided the exact location, description (brands, sizes, colors, etc), of the items. It took them 2 weeks to get back and tell me that they were unable to find the items. I know with absolute certainty that the items were left in the room but apparently they went missing between when we left and when housekeeping made up the room.
Overall, very unimpressed with the Curtis - rooms, service, etc. not good. There are a lot of other hotels in the downtown Denver area that would be a better option than the Curtis.
