"A beautiful gem! This historic mansion turned boutique hotel is adorable. The original stained glass and carved wood grand staircase are breath taking. Keep in mind this is a 19th Century home, so the floors are creaky and the walls are thin, but there aren't that many rooms so it's not super busy. My only negative comment would be the ability for the room to cool down. It was a little stuffy and in our room the vent really only cooled the sitting area and not where our bed was located. We would absolutely stay here again and take the time to explore the historic area surrounding the mansion more. "

"We really loved the room and the view. Being able to walk to restaurants and shopping was a definite plus. The only negative for us was the room was not ready for check-in when we arrived. We waited for almost an hour while the staff finished cleaning the room. "
