This hotel was the highlight of our trip. The property is located quite a ways from the main road, deep inside the jungle; however ‘going the extra mile’ is completely worth the experience. Upon arrival, the hotel staff greeted us with a ‘Welcome’ juice and checked us in our bungalow, which was located right next to the small river running by the hotel. The room is very spacious, with floor to ceiling windows. The bathroom is huge with both a shower and a jet pool. The environment is very...

Everything was immaculate and perfect except for one thing, the hot water in the shower would run out relatively quick. Aside from this, I would highly recommend this hotel.

This place is truly a hidden gem, and the staff is absolutely incredible! It should be on everyone’s list when visiting Sri Lanka. The owner is wonderful; she invited my friend and me for tea, picked us up in her SUV since our tuk-tuk couldn't make it up the hill due to an earlier accident, and welcomed us warmly despite our late check-in. She even called the staff in to prepare a delicious dinner for us, including an amazing spread of fried rice fit for a feast. The staff then helped drive our...

I arrived at the hotel at night. It was dark and snakey drive up to the hotel. Can't see much at night.
However, when daylight comes, the place looks amazing. It is right in the middle of the tea plantations and I had the pleasure to see the lovely ladies plucking the teas.
I hanged out at the lobby (which is outdoor) most of the time as it was raining during the whole afternoon.
I did not went out during my stay except to the tea factory tour.
This place is for nature lovers.

Had an incredible experience staying here and seeing it in person far exceeded what I expected from the photographs. The host was extremely helpful, the breakfast and dinner was so delicious and they have all the activities to book on sight making it a one stop shop. I couldn’t have had a better experience staying here. The host Priyantha even gave me his information to what’s app him with any questions or concerns. +94 773603723

We really enjoyed our stay at 'Forest Edge Hotel'. The location is charming with nature and beautiful views all around (I think all rooms have access to a balcony). It's far away enough from the main road that you don't hear any traffic. They also have a lovely pool. The staff was very friendly, helpful and accommodating.
At least in the room we stayed, there were only power outlets with circular-shaped pins (something to keep in mind if you're used to using square pin adapters). The WIFI...
