「We were concerned about the “holiday inn chain”, because in USA is a 💩💩, but this place is amazing, including room, staff, cleaning and great breakfast!!」

「Das Haus ist wunderschön, eine ehemalige Schmiede. Der Frühstücksraum ist auch Restaurant am Abend und wirklich beeindruckend. Das Zimmer war groß und passend zum alten Gemäuer eingerichtet. Leider keine Klimaanlage dafür ein Ventilator. Unser Hund konnte mit zum Frühstück und auch abends ins Restaurant. Das Personal war freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück war in Ordnung.」

「A lovely setting. Clean facilities. Checking in was problematic as the host had no registration facilities. We never received the email link to check in online causing the host considerable anxiety. Matters were not helped by the host only speaking Spanish.」

「Absolutely wonderful stay! My fear when I stay in the area is always humidity/musty rooms… but in Ixua there’s no sign of anything less than pristine. It all looks, feels and is clean. The rooms are extremely comfortable. The views are well… worth everything. The food and service absolutely amazing. Thank you Roberto and Munya.」

「Beautiful property & Beautiful staff. Family owned property, attention to detail. Very courteous. I was born in the area & had been wanted to stay overnight for a while. It was a bucket list item for myself. Will return. Thank you Olatz, daughter, she runs the show along with her mom Mari Carmen, thank you Alfredo, husband, thank you as well to Iosune & Giovani, that run the kitchen.」

「The building is beautiful from the outside, but it is in desperate need of maintenance and renovation on the inside. The only positive aspects of my stay were the breakfast buffet, which was excellent, and the housekeeping staff. The cleaning team did an outstanding job and kept the rooms clean and well maintained throughout my stay. Overall, despite a few positive points, I would not consider this a true four-star hotel and would not choose to stay here again.」
