"The staff of Aleesha Villas are its most valuable assets…always helpful, polite and friendly. It is only a short walk to the main area of Sanur but the property itself is in need of a great deal of improvement. It is shabby and run down and needs a lot of work to bring it to a level of other accommodation in the area. "

"Stay was during May-25 at the Akohara retreat in Ubud. On arrival greeted by staff with flower garland, drinks and local traditional dance. This is definitely a couples retreat. Our room was six levels down a mountain, some 405 steps down. We used the inclinator elevator to travel between our room and main pool and restaurant. "I rarely write a review for a property but this one deserves it. We stayed at more expensive Hyatt properties during our one week stay but this one actually made us feel like we were living at our own home. Their hospitality and service was on par with Hyatt Alilas Villas and Andaz Bali, but they went above and beyond when we had to leave the hotel at 4am to catch our flight. They had a breakfast box packaged up in the car ready for our one hour drive to the airport. They also grow their own veggies for the in hotel restaurant and the staff was excited to share the details with us when we stopped in for a bite. I can’t wait to go back Bonus: it’s only 3 minute walk to the Monkey Forest"

"I really loved this property and hated to leave! Everything was wonderful. The property is so beautiful and serene. The staff were magnificent. Everyone we encountered was so professional and helpful and nice from the front desk staff to the staff in the restaurant to the housekeeping staff. Everyone always welcomed us with a greeting and a smile. The room was very clean and comfortable and the view from our room was amazing. The spa services were excellent! I highly recommend this resort and cannot wait to return soon with my family! "

"Had the absolute best time at Ayung Resort! The staff were absolutely amazing and we loved getting to go to tea time in the afternoon and hang by the beautiful pool. We had a driver, Rena, pick us up from the airport and he was the best tour guide ever —sweetest man ever and we spent the entire next day with him having him show us around the island! Couldn’t recommend him enough!!"

"We recently stayed at Andaz Sanur for 4 nights as part of my birthday week celebrations. Absolutely loved this stunning resort, the staff who couldn't do enough for you and the dining options which were available onsite. They even organised a lovely birthday cake which was very unexpected 😁 What we didn't love was the harassment we received by the ladies on the boardwalk (outside the resort) anytime we wanted to go for a walk. Everytime they saw us they would beg us to have a look at their shop and they simply wouldn't take 'no' for an answer. In the end we were harassed to the point that we were forced to find another route to walk just to avoid them. Would definitely stay at Andaz again but in hindsight would steer clear of the boardwalk. "
