super Lage, prima Wellness, undichte Fenster

zu Fuss ist das Jakobshorn gut erreichbar. Frühstücksbuffet ausreichend, Zimmer sehr ringhörig, auch schlecht lärmisoliert gegen die Strasse (Schneepflug schon frühmorgens sehr gut zu hören). Der Wellnessbereich rundete unsere Skitage perfekt ab. Der Bereich ist jedoch erst ab 17:00 geöffnet. An schlecht WEttertagen muss wohl ein anderes Alternativprogramm her.

Gutes zentrales Hotel mit hilfsbereitem Personal

Wir waren 3 Tage in diesem Hotel und waren rundum zufrieden. Das Zimmer war ausreichend groß, sauber und vor allem das großzügige Bad hat uns begeistert. Die Auswahl beim Frühstück war angemessen und die Speisen geschmacklich sehr lecker. Positiv aufgefallen ist das sehr hilfsbereite Personal, das sich sehr bemüht hat unsere Fragen zu beantworten und uns wertvolle Tipps gegeben hat. Wir können das Hotel daher uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

Had a quick stopover at Hotel Alexander for one night. Good central location walkable from train station. Close to shops & amenities. Comfortable room, had everything we needed. Very nice breakfast the following morning. Staff were very nice.

okay, teuer, klein, renoviert?

Nach der grossen Werbung der Renovation habe ich mir das Zimmer etwas moderner vorgestellt. Besonders das Bad scheint wirklich alt zu sein. Die Duschwand liess sich nicht einmal ganz schliessen. Das Bett ist etwas kurz und hat am unteren Bettrand einen mächtigen Abschluss. Mit meinen 181cm Körperlänge erwachte ich während der Nacht immer wieder und störte mich daran. Die Terasse war sehr gross und das Frühstücksbuffet ebenfalls abwechslungsreich. Die Distanz zum Jakobshorn ist zu Fuss in ca. 10 Minuten erreichbar. Es empfiehlt sich aus KOstengründen das Auto im Coop-Parkhaus beim Jakobshorn zu parkieren. Für die Zeit von Sa 9:00 bis So 17:00 bezahlten wir lediglich 27.--, im Hotel 25.--/Tag. Der Preis war für die Leistung ziemlich überteuert. 1/3 hätte auch gereicht. Vermutlich ist es an anderen Wochenenden nicht ganz so teuer.

Geht voll in Ordnung

Der Aufenthalt hat mir sehr gefallen. Freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal, gute Lage, saubere Zimmer und grosse Balkone. Ich würde dort sofort wieder buchen. Ein leichter Dämpfer sind die altertümlichen Röhren-TVs aber das ist Beklagen auf hohem Niveau.

Wir sind sehr zufrieden gewesen mit dem gesamten Hotel nur beim hinteren Treppenhaus lag sehr viel Staub hinter dem Geländer ( Reinigungsteam ) Zimmer absolut sauber Danke-Service Einwandfrei
