"Not a great hotel - the room didn’t smell too great, the walls were really thin (and guests were pretty loud in the halls through 3 am as the came back from the casino), and the hotel apparently doesn’t clean rooms during your stay except by request (which would have been nice to know in advance).
The staff were very nice, especially the servers at the main restaurant. Overall hard to believe this is a four star hotel."
"This is a dirty hotel that smells like weed. There are no amenities to speak of and there are clearly people living here in long term housing. There are no amenities to speak of, though it does have a bunch of restaurants nearby. It’s cheap for a reason, just know what you are getting into when you stay here. Staff was friendly."
"The video concierge was unsettling and there were no signs to indicate what it was. Snacks were unpackaged randomly on a shelf and unlabled and unpriced. Vending machines were inoperable, the breakfast was a decent spread but the water jugs looked like they were manually refilled instead of clean water delivered. The breakfast area was unlit and there were no signs to indicate where to go. The showe curtain had mildew on it. The staff was friendly and the sheets and room were clean, but the bathroom needed better cleaning."
"Our room, the lobby, and pool were clean and well maintained. The air handler was quiet and kept the room an even, comfy temperature. I also like Hampton pillows more than those in other hotels. They support the head while filling the space between head and neck.
The Baltimore Street Grill is an excellent restaurant. We were bicycling the Great Allegheny Passage Trail and did not mind the mile walk into town. This would be easy with a car."
