"The staff are wonderful. They even met us at the airport then dropped us back when leaving. Taxis are relatively expensive and not that common but they found us a wonderful one who took us to and from a resturant Pump House for dinner. Our suite was extremely comfortable, attractive, spacious and clean with a little terrace. The pool area was really pretty with very comfy pool beds -shaded and sunny and a bathroom nearby and tables to have lunch. Highly recommend."

"Stayed there 7 years ago and again just now and I can say that service standard has gone down hill this time around under current management. Was told busy to book a river cruise and told to come back later! Two staff in the office I was the only customer. The poolside villa we stayed was clean, but the ensuite design was very cramped. The grounds and amenities remain well kept although the poolside villas desperately need a spruce up & coat of paint on the barge boards . The biggest disappointment was the onsite cafe..the daily in-house baking has ceased and food options are limited to what’s on display after 11am which is weird given 1pm closing. Could not even get a toasted sandwich! No social events or live entertainment."

"Great location.Even with the renovations going on it doesn't interfere with your stay. We came here for some down time and that is what we got. Room was clean bed was comfortable, we did have an issue with connecting our devices to the TV cast but it was no biggie. The pool was great"
