「The milk was all expired! They ran out of eggs . The pancake maker was not working. They start breaking the breakfast down and closing it 15 minutes before it closes . At 9:15 the cinnamon rolls were turned off and sit aside so they were getting cold. The grits were dried out. In Tuesday morning the attendant was rude. The other days the attendants were nice. Overall the place was great but this part about breakfast needs work!!!」

「Dirty!! Found a crab leg on the floor by the table in the room. No exhaust fan in bathroom, moid growing in the shower stall. Our room when you’d open the door was a view of the ac unit for the lobby area. Had a view of the ocean but it came with a view to the outside restaurants roof. Pair of scissors on the balcony looked like they’ve been there for several years. The pool is very small and the water looks a little on the green side. I will never stay there again. 「We had no idea just how wonderful this area and hotel could be! The beauty of the waterway, the wonder of the dolphins and the peaceful quality of the hotel, we loved every minute we were there. The walkways around the water, the dolphins swimming - it was all wonderful. The Shem Creek staff were all friendly and helpful and made our stay great. I found Shem Creek from reading novels about the area and am so happy we decided to visit!」

「The hotel is fine. It seems to be very new. I was not impressed by the clerk at the desk who seemed less than friendly and more focused on other things than the customer in front of them.」
