「Room was clean, but smelled weird. Everything was fine otherwise」

「I made a reservation for a NON-SMOKING room. Immediately upon opening the door, I could smell the signs of cigarette smoke in the room. I found cigarette burns on the bathtub, where cigarettes were left on the edge of the tub. I also found a burn hole in the linen on the bed. There was no remote in the room for the TV. 「This quaint motel is an ideal spot for a quiet overnight stay. Tucked off from the main road with on street parking in front and a lot in back of the building. The staff is really friendly from the young lady at check-in and AJ, who made me feel welcomed and was a delight to chat with. My room was clean, pest-free and included a microwave mini-fridge, tv with cable channels a comfy bed and hot shower which was all I needed. 「Do not stay here if you book through an outside agency like Expedia. You are not appreciated. We booked two rooms. One was dirty, smelled odd. We asked/received a replacement room. They were cleaning an ac unit in the parking lot by the entry. Elevator creeks and grumbles. Breakfast was good. Day staff was curt, unfriendly.」

「The rooms were very large. We did have to ask for bedding for the pull out sofa. The breakfast we very good but on the second day they ran out of food about 30 minutes before breakfast was supposed to end and did not replenish.」
