「The lodge was amazingly convenient on the main highway. Gorgeous views. Friendly staff. Robin was working and he was very professional and friendly. Only reason I would not give it five stars is that the room itself was very basic and simple. Very outdated. Reminded me of a Ramada Inn. So $350/night (off season) and the room wasn’t very nice. 「This place was far nicer than it had any business being for a rambler motel and far nicer than you would think given the pictures. It is a very old motel but has been extensively and well remodeled (or is in the process of-workmen were there working on another room) and the room I was in was much nicer than most hotels I have stayed in. The staff (I think also the owners in this case) was very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was good.」
