"In the Lapad neighbourhood, in a bay with many beach options very close by and a lovely promenade along the Oceanside with excellent bars and restaurants and unique spots to sunbathe. Bus system to old town is very easy to use. I would highly recommend this location. "

"The location was perfect for me. Super close to the old city and walking distance to the ferry port. It is essentially a small studio apartment. The only draw back for me was having to carry my luggage up all the stairs. Not a big problem as I was travelling relatively light and only had to tote it up and down once."

"Not our best stay in Croatia. We spent one night in room 7. The room did not have any shower products. Towels were included but one seemed dirty. The upstairs loft area, seemed not to be cleaned for a while and full of dust. The double bed on the main floor was clean. Apartment right by the road. We had to close windows to prevent road noise. Weak somewhat noisy AC unit. Small room, but they have made efficient use of it. We did not try the breakfast as it seemed basic for the cost. Parking...

"A last minute trip change landed me in Dubrovnik and I couldn’t be happier. What a magical place, and my stay at Roko was a nice complement to my time there. The location couldn’t have been better to explore the Old City, access the port for trips out to Lukrom, etc. The caretaker was kind and efficient and, has been mentioned by others, the convenience of the discounted restaurant downstairs was a nice perk. I would stay again for sure."

"There was a mix up with this property. They don’t take Credit Cards, only cash. The proprietor was very kind and accommodating and made an exception. The unit was on the 4th and 5th floor, no elevator which is typical for this area. Nonetheless, it was a long hike with our luggage. There were several things in the unit that were either not working or needed repair. They took care of them quickly. "Ok so honest review. The apartment was beautiful and a good size. Great hot water and water pressure which can sometimes be an issue in old town. The lady at check in was super friendly and informative and getting in and out of the apartment was easy. You are literally in the middle of everything which brings me to the negative. Noisy all the time which is the trade off for being in the middle of everything. Noisy until late and noisy early in the am. The people above us were noisy as well all...

"If I could give a higher rating I would. From start to finish, this was absolutely one of the best experiences I’ve had as far as accommodations go. The owner arranged transportation from the airport and was waiting for me upon arrival. The room….was phenomenal! Location was fantastic. A few steps into old town and minutes from everything you could want to see. The room was perfect, clean and very nice. Would HIGHLY recommend to anyone planning a trip to Dubrovnik! "
