Dissaponting: Room: given partial sea view despite booking sea view, told no other rooms available apart from one costing extra per night. Breakfast: the food options for vegetarians was very limited. We spoke with the customer relations person and she suggested we should eat fruit and vegetables. And she also didn't know what hashbrowns were. She asked us what we usually eat and when we told her she said oh you mean English breakfast, we dont do that here. Cleanliness: cleaners kept trying to access our room to clean when it was still early in the morning, this was with and without the "do not disturb" sign on the front door. Only partially cleaned our room. The floors were always dirty and clearly weren't broomed or vacuumed. Room Facilities: items were also broken in the room such as the bedside lamp, the sink plug hole, the door handle of the main bedroom, and the kitchen area although appearing tidy was not finished to a good standard, there were gaps around the units and under the backsplash and we saw bugs accessing the back of the cupboards as a result. The AC in the bedroom didn't get cold enough. You could only feel the AC if standing directly under it. We tried to watch TV some evenings and all the channels were either in German or Croatian, so tvs were usless to us. Staff: some were friendly but they didnt really seem accommodating. No manager on site to complain to.

Hôtel situé à moins de 10km du centre de split. Besoins d’une voiture pour se déplacer w pratiquement aucun restaurant dans les alentours . Corniche bien aménagée avec plage et activités aquatiques . Les chambres et les appartements sont spacieux . Petit déjeuner peut mieux faire . Ne surtout pas prendre le dîner du soir en buffet. Buffet très sommaire pas grand chose en entrée salade et en plat 2 plats chauds. Personnel pas du tout agréable dans cet hôtel . Aucun service à disposition. Rooftop belle vue sur la mer . Plage en face de l’hôtel très proche en revanche pas de transat gratuit . Tous les transats sont payants mini 20e par transat .

I recently stayed at this hotel and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. Our room was directly underneath the rooftop pool, and we encountered significant leakage from the pool, which dripped down onto our balcony. The noise from the water pumps was also quite loud (I’m adding video to prove volume up!), making it difficult to rest. Despite requesting a room change, the hotel initially refused and only offered a new room after the second night when water leaks went out of control they put us in different room and then tried to triple charge us for it. Overall, it was a very frustrating experience and I would not recommend staying here.

Our stay at Amphora Garden was great, we enjoyed the hotel and its facilities. In a few months this area will be booming. Currently the beach walk is under construction, and there are not many bars and restaurants around.

Not worth the price and for sure not five star lodging. Lack of fit and finish I would expect for how much we paid. AC did not work in bed rooms. Lukewarm shower in morning. Only coffee pods, no coffee condiments or tea. No complimentary bottled water. Half bathroom lock didn’t work. While we were away, two people entered the room (not house keeping) while our son was in the bedroom. He said they came in, when on to the balcony and then left. Btw safe didn’t work.

Not five-star quality – disappointing stay We booked Amphora Garden via Expedia, but the photos shown were from Amphora Hotel, which has higher standards and sea views. It was not clear that Amphora Garden is behind the main building and of much lower quality. Our apartment had a separate bedroom, kitchenette, and two bathrooms. It looked fine at first, but the kitchen lamp and extractor fan were covered in dust, the bathroom had what appeared to be mold, and I saw insects in the room. There were wine glasses but no corkscrew. When I called reception, I was told by the bar that room service costs money. I was promised someone would bring one, but no one came. Later, the bar said they didn’t have enough and I should bring the bottle myself. One bedside lamp was unstable and not fixed despite reporting it. A booked dinner was also disappointing – no drink orders taken, food was cold and tasteless, €105 wasted. Breakfast was average; the omelette chef was the only highlight. The rooftop infinity pool had nice views but poor maintenance – cracked and dirty glass panels. The beach water was clear, but the area is still under construction with few restaurants. Facilities exist, but service is almost zero. Compared to five-star hotels in Spain or Greece, this would not even reach three-star level.

Free upgrade !!

Apartment was clean and we received a free upgrade on arrival from a studio to a 1 bedroom apartment. Internet was good but didn’t work at the pool. Breakfast included was amazing. Our only negative would be the rooftop pool staff who rolled their eyes and sighed when we politely asked to have an umbrella put up. Other than that all other hotel staff were approachable and kind!

Location, pool/spa area and rooms very good!

Clean, new and nice location. The hotel is situated about 1 hour WALK from the old town of Split but the whole waterfront is being built out (4 km) and will be very nice once completed. Comfortable rooms and very nice spa / fitness area. This will be an up and coming hotel! Please note that Amphoras GARDEN (5 stars) is situated behind the Amphora so the sea view from most rooms are limited. However, very nice Roof top pool area.

Property was good including rooftop pool and easy access to beach. We did not receive the apartment we booked due to some technical issues but we were given a very good room in the hotel with a comfortable bed and also provided a discount on checkout which was most appreciated. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Easy and free parking close by.
