What a great hotel. Booked at last minute and was so impressed. Really interesting decor. Clean, quiet rooms. Nice healthy breakfast options. Very good gym. Would recommend.

Tempus Hotel Taichung
Dusty room, listing had a hot tub but it was a spa you had to pay for. They had a play area for the kids which is why we picked the hotel, but the main attraction ( motorized cars” was closed due to “maintenance issues”( i.e. the batteries caught fire) no hand soap so if you wanted to wash your hands ...

Moxy Taichung
Location was close to MRT and central location to ride to Daqing to transfer to TRA. Room was comfortable and quiet. Able to hang out all day in Taichung and rest well. We forgot our charger and power bank and staff had it packaged up for us when we returned for it.
