"Our check in was smooth and pleasant. Great location. We visited Crazy Horse and Mount Rushmore and went downtown for dinner and ice cream in the evening. The pool and game room were nice options for our family. The beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed for a great stay. The breakfast was amazing! So delicious. It would have been nice to have breakfast a little earlier than 7 am but we made it work. We went for a walk to the chainsaw carvings before breakfast. We loved all the Teddy Roosevelt history and stories throughout the hotel. Very cool!"

"This entire place is just amazing. We were staying in the motel part of the property and we weren't expecting much, but the rooms were so clean, renovated, the beds were comfortable and abundant parking. The staff was all so knowledgeable, so kind, and really went out of their way to make sure we felt welcomed and help us. The on site restaurant was awesome too. The location to Mount Rushmore can't be beat! We will definitely come back."

"Pleasant receptionist who mentioned they renovated all the rooms but left out that the bathroom was not renovated or cleaned. Missing hairdryer, torn out tissue holder. Nasty brown liquid on light switches, sticky bathroom floor, stained towels, smelly sheets. Gross. Minimal breakfast food."

"awesome hot breakfast. very clean and staff was wonderful. nice view from back rooms, cute outdoor seating area with fire pit! my only issue was the coarse stone floor in the pool area. If u have neuropathy it will drive u nuts! ouch! bring flip flops for sure. probably safer however."
