"This was a nice little apartment, great location and good kitchen, living area and bedrooms. However the towels provided were unusable- just need new cleans ones, these were really old and very smelly. Duvet in main bedroom yellow, really off putting. The bathroom was ok but some areas not great in terms of cleanliness. This is tricky as parts of it where great and kitchen was immaculate! I think with some attention to bedding and towels and bathroom would make the world of difference but also...

"Lovely space very well finished and clean as a whistle . I think we might have been the first in so very new property which offers five suites in the one building The kitchen facilities include kettle, toaster and coffee machine so no opportunity to heat anything. I think a microwave would be great addition for those of us who love porridge for breakfast 😋 Some building work going on next door but this doesn’t affect internal space experience. "

"My boyfriend booked this stay for my surprise birthday getaway and it was beautiful. We loved the cultural and historical significance of the cottage and the decor was stunning. We loved the hot tub out the back, it was private and peaceful. The hosts were very helpful and the parking was so handy. We ordered an Indian Takeout and it didn't take long to arrive at all. We hadn't even finished our stay and were already talking about coming back. Its such a perfect getaway to be in nature. "

"Super location, however, property is quite dated and needs some attention. On entering the property there was a strong smell of drains and mustiness. The toilet and shower drains smelt throughout our stay, this did decrease with use of disinfectant etc but soon returned. On reading previous reviews I have since seen this was noted as a problem in 2024 so obviously does need addressing. There was also no laundry facility as advertised on website. "The accommodations were very nice — a beautiful hotel with plenty of options. Both dining areas were lovely: one casual and the other more formal, offering nice variety. The hotel staff were pleasant and accommodating throughout my stay. However, the waitress in the formal dining room was quite impersonal and unfriendly, which was disappointing. The hotel offers great views of the ocean and is in a decent location, not too far from the causeway. Overall, a very nice stay with just a small area for improvement in service."

"Friendly and welcoming hosts who go the extra mile. Lovely accommodation which was very clean and comfortable. Parking was more than adequate and close to the front door. Breakfast was amazing…. So many options to choose from. I enjoyed overnight oats with yogurt and fresh berries followed by smoked salmon and scrambled eggs one morning and a full Irish the next day…both exceeded expectation and set us up for the day."
