"Older motel, despite the poor reviews. The guy on shift was totally helpful and friendly the room 147 was clean, safe, passing thru overnight had no problem at all. A good affordable place. Many food choices in all directions, Tims 5” in each direction"

"Beds very comfortable but the pillows were a little soft. We had to check out early so we’re not able to have breakfast. The staff very generously prepared a lovely breakfast bag of fruit, yoghurt, apple juice and a muffin for each of us. That was such a wonderful gesture and they deserve a big thank you."

"This was our 2nd time staying here at this hotel over the last year and a half. We had requested a ground floor King room with sofa bed, and we were not disappointed. We got a very spacious clean room with a private view from the very large window. The Bathroom was great and the shower was wonderful. Could move the dispensers so you do not hit them when showering. Daily housekeeping was wonderful. Room had Microwave and fridge/freezer. Breakfast was great every morning. If we are back in this area, we will most certainly stay here again."

"Our cottage was reasonably clean. It is rustic but we enjoyed our stay. The 3 queen beds were comfortable and nice pillows provided. Staff answered very quickly when I texted them. The kitchen was adequately stocked with dishes and utensils. Pool was very nice and location of cottage so close to the river was nice for fishing and kayaking and was beautiful! We enjoyed bonfires and barbecues. It is close enough to Campbellford to go on an outing and hike across the suspension foot bridge and get donuts from Doohers bakery. Cottage could use a bit of repair of the air conditioner and the door. Hopefully they will do that and make it 5 star."
