"I didn't use the laundry facility. I didn't feel safe. Not only is this property a hotel, but it's an extended stay facility, which is fine but I wish I had know before booking. I booked 2 rooms, 159 & 161. Room 161 was not ready for occupancy at 3, it was after 4 that I finally got into my room,and it had a strong order of vinegar. Room 159, had some serious problems. The toilet backed up 2 times and had to be unclogged. The sink in the bathroom was very unstable, loose and I felt it would fall off the wall at any moment. The telephone didn't work, and the A/C was barely adequate and was unable to read the control instructions. There wasn't any table or chair to put food on to eat. The mattress were very old and uncomfortable. What bothered me the most was the noise and the overwhelming smell of Marijuana. I understand it's legal, but this was a non-smoking rooms and after being out for the day coming back it was disgusting. The people hanging around outside were questionable, especially since there was a mental health facility across the street. I traveled with my daughter and 2 disabled grandkids, we made sure we were in the rooms before dark. But, the staff was friendly. "

"My reservation was canceled when I showed up at the property. They didn't call or email me to say this, I had to drive 1.5 hr to find this out. They told me they will refund and this was on 3/6. After 72 hrs, there was no refund. I called Expedia and got no refund after another 72 hrs. I finally called again to finally get a full refund. Im glad it was canceled; the neighborhood was not the best. I would be afraid my car would be broken in. The owner/receptionist stays in the handicap room next to the lobby because it was the only door that had metal bars on it."

"Don't be fooled by the aged sign on the pole, the rooms have been renovated, with good workmanship. A bonus is the tiny Thai restaurant just 2 blocks south on Magnolia Blvd. Access to I-8 and 67 is flawless. Excellent value. "

"Everything worked ac/heater worked good... Parking close to room.... I would suggest bring ur own towel, an I had water roaches (seen 2) in my room.."

"Rooms and building are dirty, outdated. Elevator stinks. There are splatter marks on the ceilings that can be ketchup or blood. Old TVs and furniture. Major construction in front of the building."
