「The Burke Inn was a perfect motel for our stay for a funeral in Carroll. The room was as you would expect it to be, and they had 2 of the best bar/restaurants in town one on each side of the motel! Had a very pleasant stay!」

「Thought a little refresh is needed. Our toilet had some significant rust stains in it. When we opened the curtains in our room on arrival there was a lot of debris on the floor. We called the manager and they did come and sweep right away. Otherwise a good location right off the highway and right next to a restaurant.」

「No fresh food for four days. No counter service. Bed was ok, but no king size beds. Toilet did not fully flush. Sink cabinetry cracked. Toilet size for children. Room wall light did not work. Window curtain broken. No motel signage. Property not suited for general public. Smells bad. This motel needs to be bulldozed.」

「When talking to the check-in staff and later another staff, each of them was very helpful. The hotel room bathroom fan was excessively loud and the switch for it also controlled the light. If you wanted light in the bathroom you had to put up with the fan noise. This bothered both of us using the room. The hotel rooms are rather dark and the bespreads, etc. are pretty worn and dated. The room was quiet. If you just want a place to rest, it is fine, but the place is a little shabby.」

「Under new management. He’s been working hard to get a rundown motel cleaned up. Still has a long way to go. My friend said his sheets had dirt and hair. My room was clean, except for the Smokey smell, that manager sprayed a deodorizer that helped. 」
