「Fantastic, overall. Convenient location; fantastic room (even if a bit of a walk). Our only complaints are relatively minor. There was an issue with the heating in the pool while we were there, which did put a bit of a damper on that side of things. Perhaps a small discount would have been appropriate in that circumstance. The other was that we felt pressured to commit to buying the breakfast when checking in in order to receive the discount. Ultimately, this meant that there were 2 days we...

「At check in we were allocted a room on 3rd floor and informed the lift was out of order. As my Wife has a heart condition and is awaiting surgery this was unsuitable. we were informed that Expedia had been informed of the lack of a lift and that they (Expedia) should have advised us of this fact before we arrived. We stayed in the hotel for only one night checking out on the 27th June as my Wife found the stairs extremely difficult, having to stop and recover at each landing. I have to say that...

「Simple but comfortable room. We had tea and coffee to make and a small but functional ensuite. The property is close to good pubs and restaurants and was a good spot to stay at a good price. We paid to park Accross the road.」

「Both elevators were out at one point, the staff couldn’t check me in even minutes earlier than the 3pm guideline,and the whole ‘meal thing’ felt weird about inclusions or exclusions. Pay to park (but only 10 pounds) for two nights - but still…great location for rail or ferry, but the staff couldn’t check use an upgrade. PS. Why are the damn hallways so narrow to your room? I could barely get by a maids cart…seems like the fire regulations would be wider. Narrowest I have ever seen in any hotel....

「I was very disappointed with the facilities provided by the hotel to its paid guests. Occupants were not allowed to use the sauna and needed to book well in advance, and it's closed at 5pm, and if you are free in the evening, you don't have access to it. Also, it only allows you a 30-minute slot.」
