"We had great ocean view. There is no beach near by. It is mostly docking area with rocks. So called beach about 2 miles away is rocky too and not beach at all. Food is very expensive and mostly Mexican. But, I did find two amazing Italian and one Indian restaurant. Very aggressive to get Tips in motel, market and all around. Not much help to guide to get there from Cancun airport, what to do around, etc. Visited two best snorkeling spots. Nothing impressive with quality of corral and sea life. Only one kind of fish was there as they were feeding them to take pictures to sell you. This is the place if you want to walk on ocean line and shop in a very safe environment. Not for beach, swimming, or snorkeling. Wi-fi is OK not good to work remotely. Very small Swimming pool is good for 5-6 children to play, not for adults. "

"We received a complimentary upgrade through Expedia so we had a Great ocean View. We have stayed here numerous times but I must say the food was better than it has ever been. Great location and a beautiful resort "

"The pool was very nice but is in need of work. Tiles coming off and tiles missing. Paint around the pool comes off on your bathing suit or back of your thighs. Rooms are clean but dated. Staff the majority are very nice. "

"The property is wothin walkimg disatnce of the airport, but very quiet and cozy. Daniel, the manager waa outstanding we felt as though we were staying at his home. We are planning a longer stay in October!"

"We loved staying here during Carnaval! The parades went right by this hotel. Perfect hotel for that event! Just one piece of advice…do not book the room that says “snack bar view.” The balcony view is blocked by a wall. Other than that this is a wonderful hotel. "

"Absolutely great value!! This is a beautiful little hotel in a neighbourhood area, away from busy traffic, and the persistent "look at my stuff" walks. One of the best parts are the staff! Hard working, friendly, and always accommodating. Cathy George and David at the front desk are always ready to help, give advise or recommendations. The included breakfast is simple, and always fresh every morning. There are cafes a short walk away for alternative options. We had a room with two queen beds that was very clean and spacious. We also had friendly visits from Lucas, the local house dog. Cute and friendly. Never barks or begs. Just wants attention. The pool area is nice, always clean, and while not heated, the sun does a great job of this by late morning. There is a beach area by UVAS you can arrange a day at, with transport and all inclusive. Most everything else is within a 15-20 minute leisurely walk. Restaurants, shopping, bars, etc. Barbara, the tour operator on site is more than happy to assist with whatever you need to reserve, from tours, taxis, rental cars, scooters, diving, and so on. We enjoyed the quiet. The home-like comfort and friendliness in a pretty setting. "
