「As a hiker on the Hadrians Wall trail, this venue had everything; good food, good beer and a good drying room. After a wet walk this was most welcome. This place was very convenient on the Wall trail and would highly recommend. 」

「Warm welcome on arrival. All matters explained for my stay. Everything provided and to a high standard. Comfortable bed and room. Lovely breakfast spread and freshly cooked breakfast was delicious. 」

「Medi, the chef, and his wife, Daniella, run the Inn and gave us both a warm, friendly welcome. The room was tidy and clean and we both had good night's sleeps even though the room was above the pub..I recommend Medi's Eggs Benedict which was fantastic and he also catered in the evening with great home made food - I had the best fish and chips I've had for many a year..I'd recommend the Sunday roast too which was awesome and over generous...and reasonably priced... Next time we're in the area...

「Peaceful, quiet, spotless, nice details everywhere, making your stay very comfortable. The breakfast excellent, great food, many choices, the service was kind and pleasant. Everything was delicious. A couple of miles from the main road, totally worth the drive, the landscape is beautiful.」

「Ian and Kate were spot on and just what we needed after a day of hiking and exploring. Friendly and approachable but gave us our space. Helpful with dinner ideas. They cooked a delicious made to order breakfast that left nothing to be desired. Highly recommend!」

「This was such a cute little apartment. It is attached to the Milecastle Pub, which has very delicious food. A portion of Hadrian’s Wall is within walking distance. I would definitely recommend.」

「Our stay at the New Inn 1730 was only overnight, and we arrived around 6pm on a Sunday evening. This is a welcoming & friendly pub, with restaurant and accommodation. The owner did his best to accommodate our needs during our short stay, and is still finding his feet a little having only recently taken on the business. Food options were limited when we arrived, particularly for our two fussy children, so we did eat elsewhere that night, but the cooked breakfast in the morning was very good,...
