"Quirky. Initially disappointed our room was in a building off of the square, but people so nice, room perfectly clean, great shower, even a good bed. So all in all great!!!"

The room was a little cold, the bed a little hard - an extra blanket would have been nice as well as soap for the shower - but I could have asked for these things and I am sure my requests would have been happily tended to. A simple breakfast was provided and I could bring my own food to keep in the fridge and warm up if needed. There is a cozy common room to read or watch tv in. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. "The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our rooms were spotlessly clean and comfortable with beautiful views. The breakfast was charged extra and there was plenty of cereal, bread, cheese, meats, fruits and yoghurts etc. It is over 4 km from Carcassone and buses are infrequent but there is plenty of parking if you take a car. We had a fabulous stay."

"We had booked a one night stay for the property's proximity to Carcassone airport. The room was lovely with kettle, teabags and fridge. If we had arrived at @ 4-5pm we would have enjoyed a relaxed walk around the Domaine and felt confident about driving back to Carcassone (30 mins) for an evening meal as we were told that there are no restaurants in any of the nearer villages.
