「Can’t recommend enough! Excellent location, Incredible hotel with everything and more you’d ever need. Beautiful interior but super practical too. I found the laundry room handy for ironing and also we made use of the pool and ping pong table. Staff were brilliant without being too invasive, and they even left a birthday plate in our room on the day of my bfs birthday - I didn’t even tell them this was a birthday trip so that was a really nice touch. 」

「We booked an executive twin room and were told on arrival that we had been upgraded from that room (which would have been on the 10th, 11th or 12th floor) to Room 1706 near the top of the hotel, with a fantastic view out over Porto to the Douro River and even a little piece of the Atlantic Ocean. The room was extremely quiet and very comfortable (although the pillows could use an upgrade). The internet connection was out our first night, so neither TV nor wifi worked, but we told the desk staff...

「The hotel is located at a VERY nice point to overview the bridge Luis. It´s beautiful to have the sunrise and sunset sightseeing from the hotel. Our room was in the 12th floor, the bridge is at the 14th floor level of the hotel, the room wtih river side view is preferred! The breakfast is with plenty selection of food, the cheese board, the bread and the fruit varieties are not extremely large, but already good enough to a satisfactory breakfast.
