"We got the cheap studio with the sofa beds that dont have such great reviews. However, we turned them around and put them together to make a big bed. They were quite comfortable and the sheets and pillows were good quality. Very satisfied. The only issue was that there was no dish soap in the kitchen. The balcony had great views of the village and the beach. We were facing west, and had a lovely sunset. The staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommend the restaurant called Bellmonte next...

"Very satisfied with our stay in the apartments. Stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment which had all the facilities we needed. Very friendly staff that answered any questions politely and helpfully. Food was good with plenty of choice although the buffet style could mean it was, on occasion, not hot enough. Good choice of pools and bars."

"It was good - seemed like it was windier there than other parts of Monte Gordo. Apartment was really roomy. Sofa was quite hard to sleep on. We were surprised that maid service was available, although we only used it once. We enjoyed our stay there. "

"We only stayed one night but we loved everything about Grand House! Such a beautiful and unique boutique hotel. The rooms are cozy and inviting, and the beds very comfortable with nice linens. The staff at the beach club and restaurant was excellent and very accommodating. A must-stop on your Algarve trip! "

"Staff were very nice and helpful. We booked it late at night for that same night after check out hours as we didn’t see even though it was clearly written. We showed up and check in was closed but we called the number and a very nice gentleman answered sleepy (it was at midnight) and was very helpful and helped us get the keys even though he didn’t have to. Breakfast was great with such a big variety. We had unexpected drains issue (clogged drain from the shower) room flooded a bit but staff were very helpful and solved the problem asap. Very pleasant stay and very pleasant staff! Need a car to go to the beach or downtown but very good and big store is close by (you can walk) hut definitely worth it! Recommend it for sure"

"Very nice hotel. The room was nice and comfortable. The pool area is beautiful. The breakfast is very good- having live piano music made it special. Most of the amenities were good - having separate shampoo and conditioner would be nice and replacing water daily would also be nice. Very convenient to downtown Tavira but still quiet. Nice balcony "

Very enjoyable stay

"Very enjoyable stay. Good value. Friendly staff. Nothing a problem. Breakfast very good and exceeded our expectations. even had bacon and eggs as well as full range of continental breakfast items. Hotel is well located for amenities and easy walk into town centre. Our river view room with balcony had lovely views."
