Hotel Horitzó by Pierre & Vacances
10/10 Excellent
"Les déjeuners style buffet étaient excellents et très diversifiés. La propreté était visible partout. La plage juste en face est juste incroyable. Le petit gym est bien pour un entraînement de base pour bien partir la journée. Seul bémol est qu’il y un coût élevé associé à l’utilisation de la piscine, spa et sauna. Cela devrait faire partie intégrante du forfait."

"The pool areas were fantastic, loads of space and sunbeds for everyone. Food was brilliant, take some loose fitting clothes! Not a fan of evening entertainment so swerved that but difficult to avoid the background noise some nights. On the negative side our greeting by Juan Carlos was cold, robotic, irritating. Think he could do with a kick up the backside, or being replaced by a machine. Also crowds of people outside smoking is not a good look at any time of the day or night. I suggest this classy looking hotel could do with a bus shelter for those who wish to smoke, not subject others to clouds of their used tobacco fumes! A short walk to the town and beach which are charming, especially the old town and the castle. All in all I recommend this hotel very highly despite the little irritations I've reported."

"The hotel was perfect in every way. Clean rooms, helpful staff, good breakfast options, gorgeous pool and lounge area. The beach is within 10-15 minutes walking distance. Lots of dining options in the area."
Hotel Aiguablava

"My visit was for two days in September and the weather was remarkable. Plenty of outdoor space to sit and relax after a joyous wedding engagement. The buffet breakfast is exceptional and not to be missed, sitting on the terrace overlooking the ocean. Our room was actually two floors, a sitting area below and bedroom upstairs with balcony. My party of five, including an 18 month old, enjoyed the pool area with accompanying bar with ice cream and refreshments. Rooms are clean and tidy. There are two very small public beaches below the hotel with no accommodations like chairs or benches so one has to be creative with beach towels. Dinner was unremarkable for the price in my opinion. Overall, a lovely stay if you prefer the pool."

"Hotel tres bien, bien placé. Par contre, dommage, chambre tres bruyante : concert jusqu’a minuit juste en dessous les soirs de notre sejour, et mise en place terrasse le matin des 8h avec bruit de chaises. Dommage pour un hotel de ne pas en repartir reposé."

"Absolutely loved it!! The swimming pool area was amazing, no issues getting a sunbed. Food was good selection. Staff great, rooms lovely. Downside was entertainment was on a bit too late, as my daughter was excited for it but could barley stay awake."

"Excellent Stay, smooth process, private rooms and 7 pools so you can get a free pool to yourself/family quite easily. Everything Walking distance Aldi and McDonalds 5 Mins Walk, Beach 20Minutes Walk."

"Clean rooms, great air conditioning. Nice pool. Evening entertainment was fine. staff not very friendly, specially restaurant staff started fooling around with us when they ran out of cutlery during chaotic breakfast hour. Upon raising voice with couple of them they got it out from their stash they were sitting on. Not pleasant, felt racism at one point."

"Très bon séjour au sein de l’hôtel. Emplacement Top, aménagement très bien, propreté très bien, personnel très agréable. Un très bon séjour en famille. Quelques points méritent une petite amélioration : - Animation : moyen, il y a surement mieux à faire pour la journée - soucis des ascenseurs parfois très très long selon les horaires. Merci Alba Seleqtta pour nos très bonnes vacances !"
