「Best about the accomodation is being on top of the hill overlooking the sea. Comfortable for a group of 4 persons. Nice hot shower, spacious twin bedroom with bath, cozy place to rest at the end of the day after Eden project and St Ives. Malcolm and Linda were reached able via mobile and email. We didn't have a car but the flat is near St Austell train station, it’s about 25 mins walk. There are buses.But Taxi difficult to book, long waiting time.」

「WARNING: Exercise extreme caution before booking this property. At the scheduled check-in time, I had still not received the self-check-in instructions referred to in the Expedia booking confirmation. I was not provided with full address details to access the accommodation, the host's telephone number appeared to be disconnected, and emails to the host went unanswered. Despite multiple contacts with Expedia before travelling, Expedia was able to provide the information required to gain access...

「The property location is perfect for access to town and beaches… Need more parking allocation… especially if there are 2 or more cars going to be at one lodge. Bathrooms were NOT cleaned properly.. drains and sink holes were mouldy and had clearly not been cleaned in awhile. Washing machine was also mouldy and build up of gunk in the seal. Needs a revamp completely… furniture.. soft fittings … had several broken blinds and garden furniture just useable. If it had a revamp then would stay again…...

「The property was lovely, spacious and clean. Beds were comfortable, showers worked well. Kitchen was clean and plenty of utensils. Only 2 tea bags and small amount of coffee in a jar that had been used previously. And opened used bag of sugar so wasn't too happy about that. We bought our own cleaning stuff as we were there for 4 nights, although there was cleaning stuff left for us. Ive stayed in some places and they've left better supplies of tea etc and even water bottles. Other then that...

「Postives: Great location, clean, very comfortable, quiet, on site car parking, helpful on site host (apparently dog friendly too). Tiny negatives: You quite rightly could argue that no-one should need to watch the TV in a place like Watergate Bay, but the TV reception was poor (maybe it was intentional!). Car parking spaces are a bit tight. Maybe needs a new shower at some point in the future. Otherwise all good and would stay again/recommend to others.」
