"Staying in a suite here was a dream. Clean modern layout with unique touches like a fireplace, well stocked entertainment center, and a loaf of Doolin bread on checkout. Cafe & pub on site, featuring music the night we stayed, plus other pubs in the area. Free breakfast was wonderful. Everyone was super friendly. And easy access to the Cliffs of Moher. Highly recommend."

"Within walking distance to a few restaurants and bars, with adequate parking. Hotel staff friendly and accommodating. Decent (included) breakfast selection. Rooms are spacious and modern; ours had a sitting room, two TVs and a modern bathroom. There was an additional shared sitting area near our room."

"There is no AC. This was not discussed on the booking website. We also could not have the window open for cool air because there was a wedding party smoking in the patio below or room till very late at night. There is almost no water pressure. Bugs in our room and bathroom. Breakfast items were cold and they were out of many things. Did not have enough staff to keep it stocked. For almost $250+ a night these things are not acceptable. Management needs to stay at The Address Connelly and take notes of what a property in this price range should be run."

"This property was great. The only reason not a five star on the staff is because we didn’t have contact with many staff due to checking in and out on the kiosk. The amenities were really good but hours were not great - closed too early. But overall hotel was a really good stay."

"If I could give the Rathbaun Hotel more than 5 stars, I absolutely would. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel genuinely welcome—warm, kind, attentive, and incredibly hospitable. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and their level of care truly made the stay memorable. Now, the beds… wow. Easily some of the most comfortable bedding I’ve slept in while traveling. Honestly, 10/10 on the bedding alone—soft, cozy, luxurious, and exactly what you want after a long day exploring Ireland. I slept incredibly well. The rooms do have a slightly dated feel, but they were spotless, well-maintained, and very comfortable. I also really appreciated the in-room coffee bar and tea station—such a thoughtful touch that made the space feel even more welcoming. This hotel has charm, comfort, and some of the friendliest hospitality I’ve experienced. I would absolutely recommend the Rathbaun Hotel to anyone visiting the area, and without question, I’ll be staying here again when I return to Ireland!"
