「It was a beautiful setting it had fantastic potential but here’s a list of the faults. Self check in system (room door unlocked key in room) another guest had checked into room we had booked. The room had a different number on the door to what it was (there was a number one on the door frame number 2 on the door) We had booked a ensuite bathroom but on the first night only had access to a shared bathroom with no hot water, no toilet paper (had to search the house to find it), blocked sink. 「I was initially given room 101. It had a terrible smell and the WiFi didn't work. The kind staff on the front desk moved me to another room on the same floor as reception. It was beautiful and the wifi worked. Very comfortable bed and the bathroom had a lovely shower. The breakfast was delicious. There was a good choice of fruits, cereals and cooked breakfast. 「Our stay was excellent. Beautiful cottage in an excellent location, close to Castlebar with good road connections for touring the beautiful county of Mayo. The hosts Declan and Laura are very welcoming and very accommodating. Absolutely lovely people. A real genuine "Cead Mile Failte" is felt here. We will definately return to stay at Cherry Tree Cottage, that is for sure! Derek Hanley, and family Dublin.」

「First time in Castlebar and found this hotel to be a great location to stay in before my meeting next day. Whilst i arrived after 7pm and the restaurant kitchen closed at 7pm, I rang the reception and they offered me the choice to pre order a dinner - went for Roast Beef. 「We were very happy with our room. The bed was so comfortable , the layout was great. I loved that they had 2 chairs and a table in between to watch tv as well as have a tea and coffee with a little biscuit .Free bottled water .
