"Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was basic and a bit stuffy but fine for 1 night for a business trip. The pool area is dated and needs cleaning / upgrading. I didn't have the breakfast as it was expensive, walked to a nearby cafe which was very nice"

"The room is with nice deco, clean and spacious. Very comfortable. However, the breakfast is far from standard. For example, fried eggs were as tough as rubber and I couldn’t cut them with knife, sausages were dry and also difficult to cut. I had just eaten one slice of toast and that’s it. Other food were left on the plate. Seriously breakfast needs to have big improvement. "

"Overall OK but room 47 did not mirror the pictures shown on the website. A twin standard room shows lots of room and a very desirable room. Reality was a clean but, shall we say compact, room. Marks on the ceiling and unfinished wall painting above the door need remedial work. Breakfast was good and the staff friendly and helpful. Recommend? Yes, but be prepared to be disappointed."

"The booking included a damages deposit which I was not aware of. It was at the very bottom of the booking page which nobody reads, this should have beeb at the top and made clear within the overall price. The shower was barely warm and very noisy, the rooms were old and shabby, there was some underfoot bits in the carpet."

"Because of my wife's disability we had an Accessible Room. The room size was great , but the layout wasn't good. The place to hang your clothes was just 2rails and clothes didn't hang properly, there was only 1 chair at a very small table instead of 2. Admitted they supplied another one when we asked. The TV was only viewable from laying on the bed, it should have been able to swivel to view it from the chair and there was nowhere to hang the towels in the bathroom. Food Menu in the Bar wasn't a great choice either. Prices expensive for food and drink. "
