This hotel must be transitioning ownership as it is seriously understaffed for its size and was practically empty. I will say the people working there were friendly and helpful. The room was nice and clean and the location was safe and good for my needs. There was lots of street parking available over the weekend. I would stay here again.

The staff was super friendly and the restaurant in the hotel was delicious ! Just watch, not all floors had a working ice or vending machine, but that gave us an excuse for a little adventure ! Overall everything was really nice !

I liked the location being across State Street from the Ohio State House where I needed to be. There is an open, old bag of ice in the freezer of the refrigerator in the room that should be removed and the freezer cleaned. To do so will require thawing the freezer but it's unsightly.

Hotel is older and staffed at a minimum. Long check in lines and 2 of the 4 elevators were not working. Staff was very friendly and the room was clean. Was there for a concert at OSU and did not want to spend $1000 per night on a hotel room. So for what we paid we realized it was about as good as we were going to get.

Room 1918 needs attention as follows: 1) toilet seat not properly attached, and 2) bank of electrical outlets on window side of the bed need to be attached to the wall with screws. When I unplugged my C-Pap machine, the entire bank of receptacles pulled out of the wall.

There was no maid service the three days that we stayed at the Plaza. We had to go and ask for fresh washcloths and towels from the front desk clerk. We put the door sign for maid service out on Friday and Saturday but no one came to clean the room.

This place was a mess. Check in was a nightmare, we were waiting in line for about 45 minutes. Two of the four elevators were broken so that was another 30 minute wait to get to the 8th floor to our room. The room itself was okay, no real complaints there. We went to a concert at OSU stadium so when we got back after, the wait for the elevator was ridiculous, had to take 8 flights of stairs. The shower was nice. Check out was quick and easy. I wouldn't stay there again.

It was the dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed in. The beds were nasty and horribly stained. I found this out once I looked under the sheets. The wall outlet was hanging off the wall as well as the AC cover. The fridge was missing. The bathroom wall was stained under the sink so badly it looked like water damage.
